Georgia prevailed 24-21 in a great game. Cincinnati's offense stalled in the second half. Their only score in the half came 14:11 in the 3rd with a 79 yard TD run by Jerome Ford to put the Bearcats up 21-10. Georgia took advantage of a Cincy turnover deep in their own territory by scoring a TD to cut the lead to 21-16. Georgia added two more FGs including a 53 yarder with 2 seconds left. The loss by Cincinnati erases any doubts as to whether they can make a UCF-esque claim that they deserve to be national champs.
