Do the Longhorns Consistently underachieve?

The Texas Longhorns are currently ranked #5 overall in composite talent on their roster. Their roster consists of 4 5-stars, 49 4-stars, 30 3-stars, with an average recruit rating of 90.39. This puts them ahead of schools like LSU, Oklahoma, Penn State, Auburn, Florida, TAMU, and many more! It feels as though they should be much better than the product they put on the field.

Either the Big 12 is super underrated or Texas has not elevated it's game the way it should have by now under Herman. I am going with the latter.

Ehlinger is going to probably end his career with almost every single Longhorn record and it will still feel like they underachieved during his career. Not blaming him. Just feels that way.
