Some things from Kentucky's Pro Day:
Keion Brooks is feeling much better after his Calf injury he had in practice, played alot tonight.
Like I've been saying, Brandon Boston is really smooth, makes it look effortless out there.
Terrence Clarke and Brandon hype is very true.
Coach Cal also has high praise for Isaiah Jackson, says he's gonna be "SO good".
Brandon Boston praised Olivier Sarr, saying he makes the game easier with his high motor, plays his butt off every day.
Davion Mintz is a nice leader for the Guards because of his experience. Him and Devin Askew have been challenging each other at the PG spot, going at each other. Devin still is a good shooter, more of a shot creator for him or others.
First live look at Dontaie Allen this year. Definitely the best shooter on the team and should get good minutes for it.
Jimmy Dykes on Kentucky: "They have a long ways to go. Will they get knocked around a little bit early? Probably so. Will people question Cal? Probably so. Will they be right there in the hunt in March? Probably so."
The bigs got after it tonight, very physical.
The entire team, all 11 guys definitely all are good and will earn their minutes, competed and went at each other every play, and that's why this team will succeed, because they constantly fight. Every player on the team is competitive, even in practice.
Final Four, even Championship capable team.
Next event: Big Blue Madness is on the 20th at 8 PM
Can't wait for that first game on the 25th against Morehead State
