Commitment Tracker - Who's Next?

The Tar Heels have been on an absolute tear when it comes to the 2021 recruiting cycle. Their last commitment coming from the #1 overall cornerback in the NATION, Tony Grimes. You may be asking yourself, "will the Tar Heels keep the ball rolling?" I certainly think that they do. 4-star DE, George Wilson, from Virginia Beach, VA is announcing his commitment on July 12 and the Tar Heels seem to be in great shape here. Wilson will be deciding between South Carolina, Arizona State, Penn State, and North Carolina. I think that Wilson ultimately winds up with UNC keeping Mack Brown and his coaching staff WHITE HOT on the recruiting trail. https://twitter.com/geo11wil/status/1276247708794261504?s=20

It now looks like Wilson won’t be selecting the Tar Heels this Sunday.

Some other names that the Tar Heels are actively pursuing are as below: 4-star DT Tyrion Ingram Dawkins from Gaffney, SC 4-star OT Logan Taylor from Canada but attends Episcopal High School in Alexandria, VA 4-star TE Bryson Nesbit from Charlotte, NC Things have cooled on 4-star DT Payton Page as he seems to be trending towards the Clemson Tigers or the Tennessee Vols. Please keep in mind that other names will likely be added to the list as the recruiting season progresses. However, the Tar Heels already have 17 commitments in the 2021 class and are only looking to add around 21 prospects in total. With most of the class filled up, they currently have the luxury of being picky.
