Sarkisian lauds new hire Patterson's Texas savvy

Texas coach Steve Sarkisian said Tuesday that former TCU coach Gary Patterson, who recently joined the Longhorns as a special assistant, "knows our conference really well" and "knows the recruiting landscape in the state of Texas really well."
