Surgery will keep Iowa QB Petras from bowl game

Iowa fifth-year senior quarterback Spencer Petras needs shoulder surgery and will miss the Hawkeyes' appearance in the Music City Bowl against the Kentucky Wildcats, coach Kirk Ferentz announced on Sunday.
