Feb. 14—Malakoff placed several players off the Class 3A Championship team on the Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association All-State Team, released on Tuesday. Coach Jamie Driskell was named coach of the year for guiding the Tigers to a 16-0, perfect season.
